The EEA Law Moot Court in Norway

The first EEA Moot Court was held in Oslo in 2015. The project was the result of a cooperation initiative which brought together the EFTA Surveillance Authority with Juristforeningen and the Law Faculty of the University of Oslo.

The Moot Court was a great success, in large part due to the Authority's excellent partnership with Juristforingen and the hard work and dedication of its members. The competitors produced subtle and thoughtful argumentation before a judging panel which included Supreme Court Justice Henrik Bull and Helga Jónsdóttir, College Member for Iceland at the EFTA Surveillance Authority.

The EEA Moot Court will return to Norway in 2017 and preparations are already under way to ensure another successful Moot Court for all participants.
