Anne Marte Vestbakke new Head of Communications



The EFTA Surveillance Authority (ESA) has appointed Anne Marte Vestbakke as the new Head of Communications. She will take up the position on 15 September 2016.

Ms. Vestbakke joins ESA from the Norwegian news agency NTB, where she worked for 12 years as foreign news reporter. She has most recently been based in Brussels as the agency's Europe Correspondent, where she covered EU and European policy as well as Norway-EU relations and the EEA agreement. She holds degrees from Oslo University College and Agder University College.

Ms. Vestbakke succeeds Andreas Kjeldberg Pihl who left ESA in May this year to take up a position at the Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Education.
