Package Meetings in Liechtenstein 16-18 April 2018

The EFTA Surveillance Authority (ESA) and the EEA-Coordination unit in Liechtenstein concluded very successful and productive package meetings in Vaduz in Liechtenstein on Wednesday.

Once a year ESA meets with each of the three EFTA states to go over open cases. The aim of the meetings is to ensure the flow of communications and to work out agreements and solutions to EEA matters.

During the package meetings, ESA's College members Frank J. Büchel and Högni S. Kristjánsson met with Prime Minister Mr.Adrian Hasler and H.S.H Hereditary Prins Alois of Liechtenstein. Further, ESA's EEA experts successfully discussed 20 EEA cases with Dr. Andrea Entner-Koch, Director of the EEA Coordination Unit as well as their respective counterparts.

ESA values close cooperation and dialogue between the EFTA states and is grateful for the hospitality received in Liechtenstein.
