ESA launches a new visual identity as it celebrates its 25th birthday

The EFTA Surveillance Authority (ESA) today adopts a new logo and visual profile. 

ESA_logo_MAIN_black“For 25 years, ESA has been safeguarding the EEA rights of people and businesses in Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein, ensuring free movement, fair competition and control of state aid. We are a modern and diverse organisation and this is reflected on our new look”, says ESA's Head of Communications Øystein Solvang.

The EEA Agreement has raised standards for areas as diverse as food safety, environmental protection, transport security, consumer rights and public health for 500 million people. It has never been easier to travel, work, study, and live across the EEA.

ESA147“It is time for ESA to have a visual makeover. With our new logo we want to reflect ESA's growth into an organisation of today – an open, trustworthy and smart 25-year-old”, says Solvang. 

ESA's new design combines a modern colour palette with striking and memorable elements - such as the signal green line, and the new “E”-based logo. These elements will soon be seen on our social media platforms, in our Annual Report, and in the forthcoming snapshot of the EEA's 25-year history, ESA at a Glance.
