PR(99)24: Authorisation of a financial contribution to radio Liechtenstein
The EFTA Surveillance Authority has authorised Liechtenstein to grant a financial contribution amounting to CHF 1.125 million to Radio Liechtenstein.
Radio Liechtenstein operates the only radio station established in Liechtenstein. The retroactive financial contribution compensates Radio Liechtenstein for services it has provided in the general interest since 1995. The Authority therefore considered that the aid qualified for exemption under Article 59 (2) of the EEA Agreement.
