General Block Exemption Regulation (GBER)

Using the GBER the EFTA States can implement aid measures without having to go through the notification process. Instead, the EFTA States can merely submit information to the Authority using the GBER information sheet template.

The European Commission amended the GBER on 14 June 2017. This amendment has yet to be made part of the EEA Agreement.

The Authority has issued a GBER Questions & Answers. This complements the Commission's GBER Frequently asked questions
