Tiltaket er innf\u00f8rt for \u00e5 verne om folkehelsen og sikre fortsatt flyt av varer under COVID-19-pandemien.<\/strong><\/p>\n\nE\u00d8S-avtalen fastsetter regler for kj\u00f8retider, pauser og hvileperioder for sj\u00e5f\u00f8rer som frakter gods og passasjerer p\u00e5 vei. M\u00e5let er \u00e5 harmonisere forholdene for sj\u00e5f\u00f8rer, sikre lik konkurranse, og forbedre arbeidsforholdene og trafikksikkerheten.<\/p>\n\n
E\u00d8S EFTA-landene kan, etter godkjenning fra ESA, gj\u00f8re unntak fra kravene til kj\u00f8re- og hviletider for transportoperasjoner som utf\u00f8res under ekstraordin\u00e6re omstendigheter.<\/p>\n\n
ESA har konkludert at unntaket som Norge har foresl\u00e5tt er i tr\u00e5d med E\u00d8S-reglene om kj\u00f8re- og hviletider for sj\u00e5f\u00f8rer. Norge krever ti dagers obligatorisk innreisekarantene for alle personer som kommer til landet. ESA erkjenner behovet for \u00e5 sikre en s\u00f8ml\u00f8s flyt av varer og samtidig beskytte folkehelsen, og tillater derfor Norge \u00e5 gi dispensasjon til sj\u00e5f\u00f8rer av varetransport slik at de kan hvile i kj\u00f8ret\u00f8yene mens de gjennomf\u00f8rer karantene.<\/p>\n\n

Tiltaket er innført for å verne om folkehelsen og sikre fortsatt flyt av varer under COVID-19-pandemien.
EØS-avtalen fastsetter regler for kjøretider, pauser og hvileperioder for sjåfører som frakter gods og passasjerer på vei. Målet er å harmonisere forholdene for sjåfører, sikre lik konkurranse, og forbedre arbeidsforholdene og trafikksikkerheten.
EØS EFTA-landene kan, etter godkjenning fra ESA, gjøre unntak fra kravene til kjøre- og hviletider for transportoperasjoner som utføres under ekstraordinære omstendigheter.
